Oracle Applications Business Analysts

Job Description:
Front-line defense for problem solving and sees a problem through to resolution, working cross functional to obtain a possible solution. The Oracle Applications Business Analyst serves as a functional/technical user support role for the organization’s financial applications and provides operational and production support of corporate financial applications including functional configuration management and documentation needed to support the applications.

  • ERP Oracle Financials experience required, preferred for version E-Business Suite 11.5.10 or R12
  • Five to seven years related experience, preferred
  • Bachelors/Master degree in Business, Information Systems or related field preferred
  • Technical skills in any of the following are desirable: SQL, XML, and Web Services
  • Understanding of structured SQL statements and how they are executed in the RDBMS (SQL/PLSQL) will be helpful
  • Ability to read and decipher software Log and Trace files, as well as the ability to act upon the finding to determine a problem resolution.
  • Experience with data integration into rest of Application landscape
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Access and Sharepoint
  • Experience with systems implementations/upgrades a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be able to work independently to evaluate and identify application problems as well as developing potential solutions.
