Platform Operation Specialist

  • Details: Our Client has just entered the next exciting phase of further developing and optimizing how he engage his clients through the Trading Platforms, which are the clients' main products. To further strengthen the Digital Development and UX team and shift clients' digital user experience to the next level, we are looking for a skilled Platform Operations Specialist, who will build and maintain client’s owned and Partner trading platforms.

PROJECT ROLE:

  • You will report to the head of Digital Development, and be part of a global team of highly skilled digital development managers in Denmark, Singapore, China, India and Poland, responsible for launching, improving and maintaining all of Saxo’s Trading Platforms through the newly added ContentManagement features.
  • Working with clients' enterprise CMS system (Sitecore), and your colleagues across multiple organizations (Platforms, Digital Marketing, Digital On-boarding, Trade & Client Support, IT etc.)
  • Participating in daily SCRUM meetings with teammates Globally
  • Maintaining, enhancing our solutions in accordance with the global web and platforms UX strategy.
  • Working with stakeholders across the organization globally to build and enhance the user experience on clients' platforms, with a focus on increasing retention and trading activity.
  • Clearly communicating with the head of the team and your colleagues, to ensure your projects and other tasks are progressing.
  • Ensuring that any potential risks for delivery are communicated in a timely manner.
  • Discovering, diagnosing and reporting product issues including broken designs, typos etc.
  • Day to day technical/configuration queries from our clients and colleagues.
  • Transition from onboarding to hyper care, training the clients directly in using clients' tools.
  • Assisting our Platforms and Trade & Client Support teams in the technical on-boarding of new platforms.
  • Responsible for platform configuration for local clients' offices, anchoring the roll out of new clients' Platform features and layouts.
  • Being hands-on, and the subject matter expert on clients' Content Management processes.
  • Quality assurance test clients' new projects & release related changes

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU, IF YOU ARE:

  • Experienced with being in the center of the delivery process.
  • A good communicator, with your team and stakeholders.
  • A critical thinker, always looking to digitize and automate recurring jobs, for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Tech savvy, and an overall keen interest in the digital world.
  • Detail oriented, thriving to make an effort to understand causes instead of just the effects.
  • Strong skills in time management, prioritizing work individually and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge or strong interest in investment banking especially in relation to capital markets and financial products (FX, CFDs, equities etc).
  • Experience with: Content Management Systems (Sitecore is a plus)
  • Experience in software quality assurance or testing.

  • Experience in writing documentation for the rest of the team and other stakeholders.

Additionally:
  • Experience with UX best practices, Web design and basic front-end development (HTML, CSS, JS) is a plus.
